We started the project Mi Futuro Pintando in San Pedro La Laguna in 2008. The young people sell their paintings to pay for their education. We also give painting classes for people who visit San Pedro. 20% of the payment of the classes will go to buy food for the most needy people.

Before covid we had 35 children between the ages of 8 and 13 and 8 advanced youth. The 8 advanced youth sell their paintings for their education. This year, 3 of the 8 will graduate.

These 3 young people are fatherless. The sale of their paintings is used 50% directly for their studies, 25% for food, and 25% for the maintenance of the program and to buy local paints and materials.
