SanPedroLaLaguna.earth is a directory of businesses, organizations, and other enterprises in San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala. It is for visitors planning a trip and for people who live here and want to find what is close by.
Why listings are free
The idea behind the free listings is that all businesses in San Pedro should be able to be represented, regardless of whether they have funds to spend on advertising and regardless of their level of online expertise. I’ve aimed to make it easy with an online form that people can fill out, telling about what their enterprise offers, and providing up to half a dozen images.
The result is we will end up with a lively and diverse directory, where tourists and locals alike can find all the community has to offer.
And another benefit of offering free listings is that the site will attract increasing numbers of visitors, and at some point might be able to make money from sponsored features or advertising. Perhaps we may attract a local apprentice to learn the ropes and reap the bounty.
What we ask of listed businesses
A free listing comes with two simple responsibilities:
- Give us real, accurate information. All the information you provide for your listing should be true. People rely on this directory to decide where to go.
- Tell us when something changes. If your details are out of date, or you want your listing changed or taken down (for example, you have moved or closed), write to contact@sanpedrolalaguna.earth. We will update or remove it.
We read every submission and may edit it lightly for clarity. We cannot promise that every submission will be published. We may remove or correct a listing that is inaccurate, out of date or misleading.
